In August 05, after almost 5 years at Totallyradio Towers, Claire gave in her notice and decided to move on. Before doing anything else, Claire is on sabbatical so she can work on another creative project.

History

Claire was full-time radio presenter and producer at Brighton's Juice 107.2 and www.totallyradio.com where she she was also Channel Manager.

She presented 'Totallywired With Claire Kember' on Juice from April 2001 and from February 2004 presented the genre-hopping 8 til 10pm slot Mon-Thurs on Juice 107.2 which was totallyradio.com's core show from December 1999

Under her belt she has a fairly wide but independent radio experience which typically involves a lot of guests, co-hosts and interviews like Soulwax, Mike Ladd, Beans, Giant Sand, Ty, Yo La Tengo, Ozomatli, Calexico, The Strokes, A1 People, Noel Gallagher, Tarwater, Stone Roses, Moby, El P and Mr Lif, The Dandy Warhols, Gus Gus and masses of Thrill Jockey's roster, Black Eyed Peas, Appliance, Kinky Disco, Pink Grease, Rebecca Hall, Ian Brown, Wedding Present/Cinerama's David Gedge, Wire's Colin Newman, DJ Format and more.

Radio experience includes:

• 2 years at London's Xfm, when independent and under Capitol, where she presented the self-produced Saturday 6-10pm and Sunday 1-4pm shows and then at Capitol's HQ the weekend breakfast shows.
• 2 years presenting the self-produced review show Testing Testing With Claire Kember at national SBN (Student Broadcast Network) with reviewers including Sepultura, Seafood, Wire's Colin Newman, Red Snapper, Fog and masses more.
• 5 years at national VMR (Virgin Megastores Radio live to 94 stores in the UK and ROI) where the highlight was our outdoor broadcasts and interviews at Reading '96 and '97 and V98 and being the first DJ to play Oasis' third LP at the height of the hype.
• Work experience on KPNT The Point(St. Louis, USA) in '95 and RSLs in Brighton in '95 and '96.
